ConDems Smash Conservative Record
The
Conservative led coalition has succeeded in beating the previous Conservative
governments’ figures for unemployment.
The ConDems have increased unemployment by 118,000 during the 3 months
to November to 2.69 million, according to the Office of National Statistics.
The highest figure since 1996.
Not a record to be proud of, unless you are Conservative.
Cameron repeated his standard speech he uses on these occasions word
for word; The Prime Minister, David Cameron, said the figures were
not good news: "Any increase in
unemployment is disappointing and obviously a tragedy for the person
who becomes unemployed - that is why we are taking action to get people
back to work".
"We're taking action to try and get people back to work"
A weak and demoralising statement made by an arrogant politician who
is trying to bankrupt the country.
Cameron proudly said that during the same period 18,000 people had
found work. Against the extra 118,000 more people out of work, it
is a pitiful record.
Youth unemployment went up again [where’s all these new apprentices?]
to hit a new record of 1.043m, taking the rate for 16-24 year-olds
to 22.3%.
Almost a ¼ of the youth, out of work, and no prospects. One
in twelve people are now out of work.
The worst part of this is that Cameron preaches his method of rebuilding
the country to the rest of Europe. The whole world can see his policies
of increasing unemployment, increasing inflation, killing off growth,
and borrowing fantastic amounts of money is actually abject failure
for Cameron and Osborne, with both of them being egged on by the Liberal
Democrats.
Why the Liberal democrats support and applaud this terrible record
is beyond comprehension. It shows a callous disregard for their country,
and a complete lack of understanding of how to run a country. Surely
they can read the figures and realise how stupid they are by supporting
them.
The conservatives know what they are doing, and the electorate knew
they would inflict pain on them for at least the next decade if not
more, before a fresh government can reverse the trend of, high unemployment
and high borrowing.
Cameron is right in one thing when he says he won’t
spend money to create jobs. He is too busy spending our money to loose
jobs.
